Revolution OS tells the story of the hackers and computer programmers who rebelled against Microsoft and the idea of proprietary software to create GNU, Linux, and the Open Source Movement. This was my second collaboration with director J.T.S. Moore who asked me to heighten both the rebellious, underdog spirit of the hackers as well as the villainous exploits of the profit-driven Microsoft Corporation. The result is an eclectic hybrid of Phillip-Glassy neoclassical and Sgt. Pepper-era pop. I created the demos and sheet music on a Mac.

“Moore's film is unusually sharp looking for this sort of documentary, and comes complete with a nice soundtrack.” – Daily Variety
